The office is a strange place. Full of people, who are full character. And here are the 5 types of people you’ll find in every office.
The Health Obsessed
They’re drinking vile green smoothies, for breakfast lunch and tea, gymin’ on their breaks, after work, before work, and sometimes during work. Kale comes into conversation at least twice a day. They’re the health obsessed colleague. Every office has one. Fact.
The Meeting Madman
The Meeting Madman enjoys expanding a 4 word email into a 4 hour meeting and sometimes feels it’s necessary to turn it into a lunch meeting. Completely obliterating the one hour you have to yourself.
But there’s no worries though, because they’ve ordered you a salad sandwich from the cafe across the road! And by salad sandwich we mean two slimy pieces of bread, minimal mayonnaise, a leaf and a tomato. Like I said, no worries.
The Lunch obsessed
Lunch is one of the few things we have to look forward to in this dark and terrible world. It’s great, who doesn’t love eating. But the lunch obsessed takes lunch even more seriously than their job. They’ve got last nights Greek salad for starters, followed by spag-bol’ with a side of garlic bread for a main course, and to finish it of they’ve brought a homemade tiramisu in… all washed down with a bottle of apple juice that looks suspiciously (and smells) a lot like white wine. And when they’ve finished you best keep your lunch to yourself because they’ll be stealing some of your food too.
The person who stinks the office out… every time
I mean what must they be thinking. What must possibly go through their head? How about, ‘oh I know, I share an office with 17 other people therefore i’m going to make my self a packed lunch of salmon, potato, blue cheese along with some fried onion and garlic just to add extra flavor and make sure I stink the entire office out and make everyone feel sick,’ Every office has got one, and if you don’t know who it is, it’s probably you.
The stirrer
A constant stream of incorrect gossip is what keeps any office strong. And you know exactly who to go to when you’re needing an update. The stirrer. All they need is to see two people making eye contact and a rumor emerges that they’re getting engaged.
